Every garage needs a toolbox or two for storing the tools you use for the car or for around the house. A lot of these tools are small and can be easily found inside a toolbox. These are the tools that get lost in a messy garage.

Build shelves in your garage if you do not have any. This is the best way to store things like paint and pesticides. You might want to have a couple of really sturdy shelves for things like husqvarna chainsaws, skilsaws, and other kinds of expensive or dangerous tools.

Making the best of the space that you have for storage in your garage means that you will always have a neat place to work in. Stay on top of the things you know you will not use anymore. Do not just throw things into the garage because you do not want them inside anymore. Take these things to the landfill or a local charity.
