Keyword Research Services – Instacash Tested To Destruction

Chances are you struggle (like I do) with finding good keywords. I can find keywords all day long. Most of what I find are useless though.

I thought the data from Google’s keyword tool was always bang on. After all, they should be giving out accurate info. Turns out they do and they don’t.

Any data you get isn’t accurate. At the time it was put together it will have been perfectly correct. I stumbled across the solution to this particular conundrum.

I targeted a keyword that ‘said’ it had about 5000 competing web pages. I was pretty confident I could get a result from that. I started churning out articles by the bucket load.

Soon after I noticed Google telling me there was about 9000 competing pages now. I was shocked at this huge difference. Looked like it was going to be hard work. A bit more investigating turned up my own articles on loads of these new competing sites.

The point I’m trying to get across is that had I looked at the keyword with 9000 competitors, I would have left it alone. As a lot of them were mine (or had my article on) I was competing against my self most of the time. A win win situation if you ask me.

Anyway, I decided to give a keyword research service a try as I couldn’t count on getting lucky every time. Getting a daily list of quality keywords sent is something that appeals to me. I did a few calculations and came to the conclusion that research services, though not cheap, were value for my dollar.

I chose to give Travis Sago’s Instacash keyword service a go. After all, he’s the king of the bum marketers. Bum marketing only costs my time so it’s my kind of marketing.

It takes me an hour or two to come up with a couple of decent keywords. Getting them delivered is a huge help. If I can save two hours work each day that’s something I’ll grab with both hands. If I weigh the cost each day against my two hours work it clearly becomes value for money.

Outsourcing, outsourcing, outsourcing. Seems to be all you hear from the gurus of internet marketing. I see this as an outsourcing project. Outsourcing my keyword research to someone else.
