You Can Shop For Savings And Quality
Everyone is aware of the state of the economy and tries to save money in various ways. They use grocery coupons, wait for sale prices and drive as little as possible to save gas. Gas is something you will always need.
There are large stores that sell nearly everything a family could need. Buy it all in one place and you save on gas. These stores are well-stocked with all the items. Buy every product from new shoes to school clothes to a new hand mixer or a stainless steel rice cooker. Wait for a sale and save even more money.
It is easier to keep up with the Jones family these days. They will be trying to save money just as you are. If Mrs. Jones added four new dresses to her wardrobe last year, she may limit herself to one this year. If Mr. Jones has been eyeballing new cars for two years, he will be content to wait at least one more year to purchase his dream car.
When Mr Smith next door started restoring a classic car, he was excited about a certain color of paint. Then the clerk at the auto supply store said it was twice as expensive as the other paint of comparable quality, he changed his mind. He chose a color that was close to the same, and cost much less.
But, when you pay a tax rate of 33 percent, your money is one third gone before you start paying living expenses. Everything costs double. Some things you cannot find at cheaper prices. Like, doors for an antique car are pretty much price-fixed.
Weekly grocery shopping is done at a large superstore. They buy other things there too. They fill their basket with the non-perishables first. Groceries are collected last. They found the homelite chainsaw they wanted at an attractive price and bought it last weekend. They put the money they saved in their economy jar.
They count it out when they feel like gloating and put it in their bank account. They keep track of how much they save. When Mrs. Smith wanted a nice gift for a bridal shower, she found an attractive sanyo rice cooker for a low price and purchased it for the gift. Name brand quality at a low price is always a bargain.
Whether shopping for a sanyo rice cooker or a week’s worth of groceries, the Smiths are conscious of saving as much money as possible. As long as the quality is high, buying what is on sale makes good sense. They do not resort to inferior products or day old bread, they simply buy the quality merchandise at the right time.
